EMU Grants 2018

EMU supported two young scientists who attended the International Mineralogical Association (IMA) conference held in Melbourne on August 13-17, 2018.

The travel grants were awarded to:

Gaia Maria Militello (Department of Earth, Environment and Life Sciences, University of Genoa, Italy) and co-authors (session Mineral-hazards: the environmental and human health problem represented by raw and man-processed mineral phases with special attention to asbestos minerals) for their contribution Effects of comminution on quantitative determination of tremolite and actinolite fibres in bulk samples

Nataliya Lebedeva (IGEM Russian Academy of Sciences) and co-authors (session Mantle xenoliths, kimberlites and related magmas: the diamond trilogy) for their contribution Geochemical and Sr–Nd isotopic characteristics of clinopyroxene from Clinopyroxene-Phlogopite xenoliths from the V. Grib kimberlite (Arkhangelsk diamond province, Russia)
